Ronaldo is in the final months of his current contract with Al Nassr (expiring on June 30). Therefore, after this period, he will become a free player.

FIFA’s new rules allow players whose contracts expire on June 30 to sign a short-term contract for one month to play for one of the 32 clubs participating in the Club World Cup held in the US.
