The “Listen to Your Heart” campaign launch will include two of Beats’ most well-known ambassadors, Lionel Messi and LeBron James, as the major attractions.
A promotional video for the new Powerbeats Pro2 series, which highlights the “powerful connection between passion, performance, and heart,” features Messi and James.
I’ve been a huge admirer of the Powerbeats line since its launch, and it’s incredible to see it evolve into the new Powerbeats Pro 2, James said.
“Music has always been a big motivator in my training, and these earphones take an already iconic product to a new level.”
Shohei Ohtani, a sensation in Major League Baseball, is the newest athlete to serve as an ambassador for Beats in September 2024, joining Messi and James.
Beats’ most recent commercial, which was released today, focuses on the heart, which stands for perseverance and overcoming challenges. It tells the story of how these three athletes strive for greatness while finding inspiration in their favorite songs.
“Even though we come from different sports, we are united by our shared desire to perform at the highest level,” Messi continued.
“This campaign exemplifies how true power originates from the heart, and we’ve all used that inner drive to fuel our journeys and push ourselves throughout our careers.”
Beats by Dre was a key part of Apple’s marketing strategy and had established itself as a sports brand before the business was purchased for $3 billion in 2014.
During the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, James and the other players on the Olympic basketball squad wore Beats gear both before and after the games. When other top American athletes, such as Serena Williams and Tom Brady, began wearing them as well, it significantly raised its level of brand recognition throughout the world.

Beats’ latest offering, the Powerbeats Pro 2, seems to be even more geared toward sports. The new earbud’s heart rate tracking feature may be utilized with a number of wellness and lifestyle apps, such as Peloton, Nike Run Club, Runna, and others. In one of his first Beats commercials, Ohtani stated, “It’s really special to be a part of this campaign with LeBron James and Lionel Messi.” I’m excited to collaborate with Beats to help promote the idea that it’s important to tap into your heart, regardless of whether you’re a novice or an athlete competing on the biggest platform.
