David Beckham was born on May 2, 1975, and started his 50th birthday celebrations early in Miami on March 31. The former English footballer attended the party with his wife Victoria (50 years old) and children Romeo (22 years old), Cruz (20 years old) and Harper (13 years old). Absent from the party were his eldest son Brooklyn (26 years old) and his wife Nicola Peltz (30 years old).

Beckham wore a velvet tuxedo, while Victoria showed off her ageless beauty in a white dress. The former Spice Girls member shared on social media: “What a great way to start Beckham’s birthday, surrounded by friends and family. Kisses from Miami!”

Beckham’s youngest son, Cruz, 20, attended the party with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, who is 10 years older than him. Cruz went public with Apostel last year, after splitting from model Tana Holding in October 2023.

Apostel is a singer of Brazilian and German descent. As a child, she lived in Brazil, Germany and the United States, and currently lives in London. She was a member of the band Schutz before going solo.

Romeo, the second son of David and Victoria Beckham, attended the party with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull (25 years old). Romeo is currently active in the modeling industry, managed by SAFE Mgmt (France). Last October, he walked the catwalk for the first time at Balenciaga’s show after retiring from football.

Beckham invited a host of close friends and famous faces to his early birthday party. The former Man Utd and Real Madrid player shared a photo with long-time friends Gabe Turner, David Gardner and Ben Winston with the caption: “Friends for life.”

Another photo shows Beckham hugging Gardner, his childhood friend from Man Utd’s youth team, with the sweet caption: “Love you, my friend. 35 years between us.”

Beckham was also welcomed by many sports stars, including players from Inter Miami, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets. These four players were close friends since playing for Barca, before reuniting at Inter Miami.

Messi attended the party with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo. Messi and his wife are childhood friends, having met when they were five years old. Antonella is the cousin of midfielder Lucas Scaglia – Messi’s best friend. They dated in 2007, had two children before getting married in 2017. Antonella gave birth to their third son in 2018.

Beckham also humorously posed for photos with American football star Tom Brady and basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, who are much taller than him. “I’m so small,” he wrote.

Hollywood stars Justin Theroux, Fisher Stevens and Grammy-winning singer Marc Anthony were also present at the party.

The Beckhams are known for throwing lavish birthday parties, and this year was no exception. Last year, Victoria threw a lavish £250,000 party in London with family and friends and even reunited with the Spice Girls for her 50th birthday.

Last month, Beckham revealed his body “feels better than ever” and shared his fitness secrets with Men’s Health UK as he approaches his 50th birthday. Regularly training with wife Victoria in his home gym, the Inter Miami co-owner said he enjoys playing padel three times a week and exercising daily to maintain his figure.

Beckham said he “enjoyed” training with Victoria but often “teased” her during workouts. He stressed he “didn’t mind at all” about turning 50.
