This model is Theon’s first custom Porsche 911 Targa. Accordingly, the upgraded 911 Targa will have body panels made of carbon fiber. The car uses a 4.0 liter flat-six engine block.
The upgraded engine block produces 403 horsepower and 434 Nm of torque. This customized version has a perfect power-to-weight ratio equivalent to the 991 generation 911 GT3.
To provide a more exciting and enjoyable driving experience, the car is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission tuned to the settings of the 993 RS sports car itself. The reset pedal position helps the driver to switch between the clutch and brake pedal more flexibly.
With a light flywheel, throttle response is more sensitive, helping the car respond faster to the driver’s actions. The car is also equipped with a bespoke exhaust system that gives the Targa an impressive engine sound. This On Off exhaust system can open and close according to the driver’s settings or can also automatically turn on and off according to automatic settings.
The custom car also inherits the brake system of the 993 RS, thereby increasing braking efficiency for the classic sports car. Theon used Formula 1 technology to create a carbon fiber bracing system. The GBR003’s carbon fiber body is finished in light blue with contrasting Porsche paint along the body.
The car door is not made from carbon fiber for the purpose of protecting the occupants in the event of a side collision. The car is equipped with outstanding 18-inch Fuchs wheels that come with brake shackles painted the same color as the car’s body. To ensure performance, the car is equipped with Michelin Pilot 4S high-performance tires.
Regarding the interior, the car is decorated with a combination of luxurious materials and the sophistication of a sports car. To keep the weight low, the car’s interior is equipped with many carbon details. Some other details are covered in leather.
The seats are upholstered in semi-aniline leather with Porsche’s original Agate gray Pepita black and white pattern. The rear seats are inspired by the sports seats of the Porsche 928 and are equipped with a subwoofer.
The car is equipped with a high-end Pioneer P99RS Bluetooth audio system with 6 Focal speaker system and Focal amplifier. The Targa roof has been modified to fit the reinforced chassis and is trimmed with premium mohair material.
The hood can be stowed in a separate bag, then placed in the leather-covered trunk. The upgraded Porsche 911 Targa will cost from 526,000 USD (about 12.3 billion VND). However, this price does not include the price for the original car as well as other high-end equipment options.
