The Upcoming Dodge Challenger EV Looks Every Bit A Muscle Car

Dodge’s upcoming electric muscle car could do worse than study this speculative render, proving enthusiasts have a bright future to look forward to.

The way we get around is rapidly changing. Cars are slowly but surely going all electric, and that makes things quite interesting. Because one day soon, muscle cars might go down the same path. There are already plenty of rumors about a 2024 electric Dodge muscle car. But what would one look like? We have seen some teasers, but now it’s time to take that to the next level. Talented HotCars digital artist Timothy Adry Emmanuel has created this exclusive render for HotCars showing off what the 2024 Dodge eMuscle could look like.

The New Dodge EV Has A Striking Front End

The front-end of the eMuscle is certainly very imposing. As with a lot of electric cars now, there is a light bar stretching across the front of the eMuscle. This enshrouds the front fascia, and what is great to see is that Emmanuel has not fallen down the trap a lot of manufactures have and created a full-on grille. It is an electric muscle car. It does not need a grille. Under the light bar somewhere is no doubt some form of cooling, but what really takes our breath away is the huge and super aggressive splitter. We also love the revived Dodge Fratzog logo.

The rear end of the eMuscle is quite impressive. It is clear that a lot of the inspiration for it has come from the Dodge Challenger of today. The shape of the fascia and general styling evokes that muscle car. It is very streamlined, with little clutter, and this is refreshing. So many designs of cars these days are just too fussy. There is even a hint of the 1970 Plymouth Hemi Barracuda in here as well. So it is a great blend of the past, the present, and the future as well.

The top-down view of the car gives us a great overall look at Emmanuel’s work. That light bar looks fantastic, even more so as it lights up the front splitter. It has retained the bulky lines of the current Challenger, and the hood scoop is a novel way of cooling the electric drivetrain, while also retaining a design element that is a distinctive one of current muscle cars. The gills either side of the front wheels no doubt also has a cooling purpose. We do not know exactly what the eMuscle will look like. But if it is anything like this, then Dodge will be on to a winner.

The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT And The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 1706 Images

The Dodge Charger EV, or to give it its proper name the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Daytona is what the eMuscle is in 2023.

After a special reveal, we got to see and hear the new electric muscle car that uses the looks from the Challenger and the name from the Charger to create a very quirky machine.

Not many were fans of its sound.

Still a long way off, the Charger Daytona will be the ‘muscle car’ offering in the Dodge lineup alongside the various trucks, SUVs and crossovers. It should offer at least 670 hp and be plenty fast, though specific specs and trim levels are still a mystery.

Dodge were in the news again recently with the last Challenger, which essentially will give way to the Charger Daytona SRT indirectly. Before then, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 will rock your world – and your ears – as the 1025-hp farewell model.

There have been various ‘last call’ models for the Charger and Challenger, and they all culminate in the last, gasoline-engined Challenger which is not just the fastest production car on the quarter mile, it is also the definitive farewell from a much-loved machine.
