Unleashing the Powerhouse – A Supercar-Eater SUV with a Blazing 2,000-HP

It does 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds!

American sports car manufacturer Drako is making an SUV to compete with the Tesla Model X and the upcoming Lucid Gravity.

It is called the ‘Dragon’, and it has 2,000 hp and gullwing doors.

And we love gullwing doors.

Drako says Dragon will be “the most powerful, quickest, and fastest production hyper-luxury SUV in history.”

They actually calls this a ‘SuperSUV’, and it’s easy to see why.

With 2,000 hp, might we add, it would also be more powerful than almost any hypercar out there.

The Drako Dragon SUV was designed with aerodynamic principles in mind.

Even the wing mirrors, for example, have been replaced with slim cameras that display on dashboard screens.

The body is made from composite material to keep the weight down.

Nothing was left to chance.

The gullwing doors, for example, serve a specific purpose.

They’re cool, obviously, but they also make it easier for passengers to get in and out of the car.

The fact that the car doesn’t any B-Pillars help.

Inside you’ll find thick, plush seats upholstered in leather and the usual array of screens.

There is a massive 17.1-inch screen in the dashboard, and another one behind the steering wheel for the instrument cluster.

In addition to that, there are two screens for rear passengers – positioned on front seats’ headrests.

The Dragon is powered by a four-motor electric powertrain, capable of propelling the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds.

The top speed is 200 mph.

Not bad for what is essentially a family car.

The base price for the Drako Dragon starts at $290,000.
